Walter G. and Emilie L. Gadient Foundation
Trust
At 83 years of age, Mrs. Emilie Gadient is undoubtedly
the elder statesperson of TGRA Commercial Members. A widow
since 1992, she gives her time, energy and resources to charities
in her home city of Naples, Florida as well as causes in prior
hometown Chicago and in Dallas Texas, where her son Jim resides
and has been a dedicated member of TGRA Dallas Chapter since
August of 1989.
She instilled the desire in Jim to strive to help others and
give back to the community that has given so much to the Gadient
family over the years, and along with Jim, has continuted
to support local Dallas charities such as the Resource Center
of Dallas and AIDS Interfaith Network among many others.
Though her health makes travel difficult, Emilie wishes everyone
a safe and successful IGRA Finals Rodeo and she'll be there
in spirit if not in person, and is excited at the prospect
of a gay rodeo in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2006!
