The Resistol Arena
The Resistol Arena in Mesquite is one of the premier rodeo
arenas in America. You’ve watched the Mesquite Rodeo
on Fox SportsNet every Friday for several years. It’s
an indoor facility that’s fully air-conditioned and
heated. Seating for 5500 is available, including the only
rodeo arena in the country with luxury suites. The crowd is
close to the action. It’s a great place to compete and
you’ll thoroughly enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Arena is connected to the Hampton Inn & Suites by
a covered walkway. Registration will take place at the Hampton
Inn Friday night from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Since horse stalls have not yet been installed – though
they are planned in the near future – we’ll be
bringing in covered portable stalls. They will be provided
by the same vendor who has provided stalls for TGRA rodeos
in Fort Worth for several years. They’ll be located
on the north end of the arena, just outside the alleyway and
inside the fence, in the same area is a small warm-up area.

Horse stalls will be free to contestants. Tack stalls will
cost $25 each. Stalls must be reserved in advance. Either
notify the IGRA office at the time you accept your invitation,
or call the Rodeo Hotline 214 446-0316 by
November 10th.
Shavings must be purchased from the Arena. They’ll
be available for $6 per bag. Sorry, but you’re not allowed
to bring in your own.
